The aim of the Love YOUR Learn Local project (LYLL) is to support individual Learn Locals in their delivery of viable classes through the promotion of the role and value of community based training and supports available through the 24 Learn Local organisations and pre-accredited training/services in the Gippsland region.

The strength of the LYLL project comes from the engagement of and collaboration with “local champions & supporters” promoting pre accredited learning in areas of need and interest to individual communities.

Using individual stories, What's YOUR pathway? campaign aims to document the pathway of Learn Local learners, their experiences and opportunities and their engagement with Skills and Jobs Centres. Communities relating to the words and stories of their own.

Learn Locals have many “champions” within their own organisation e.g.- Volunteers, committee of governance, staff, learners and within their own communities e.g.- Local government, local libraries, health and community service providers.

The Skills & Jobs Centres within the Gippsland Region are identified as essential champions and collaborators as a unique response to the education, training and employment needs of local communities. Partnering with the Skills and Jobs Centres has highlighted the value and importance of collaborative relationships that will ultimately be of benefit to the broader community.
